Discover me Semantically creates a semantic user profile for SerenA services in order to utilise linked open data (LOD) to connect people to people and information for discovery. The web is where SerenA finds information about Places, Universities, Researchers, Research domains and … “Things”. To connect people with pertinent and interesting ideas and people to each other through pathways of related areas. It uses the semantic web and machine readable metadata with reasoning to create deeper meaning. LOD makes it possible to make connections across heterogeneous data sources it adds value to the data and makes data more accessible and meaningful
