David Cocks, CEO and Co-founder

David Cocks is a co-founder and Chief Executive of CloudTrade. Since 2010 David has led CloudTrade from day-one start-up to its current position of delivering 24x7 service to customers in Europe, North America and Australia.

David's early professional background was in software development working for with leading-edge, technology companies in UK, Germany and California. Prior to joining CloudTrade, David also spent several years as a Managing Consultant with PA Consulting Group, followed by VP of Technology Strategy for GMAC and CTO of Orbian ( and EGS (  

Through this experience, David has been able to maintain a hands-on interest in technology, an endless energy for entrepreneurial innovation and a passion for delivery of the best customer service.

Richard Develyn, CTO and Co-founder

Richard Develyn is co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of CloudTrade. Richard provides technical leadership and innovation within the company, has written the majority of the core software which powers CloudTrade's service and continues to grow and develop CloudTrade's technical platform towards greater power and sophistication.

Richard has 22 years of hands-on software development experience including roles as Principal Architect and Software Development Manager gained with a number high-tech companies.  Richard has worked with start-ups in the past including technically leading one through due dilligence before successful Venture Capital funding. Additionally, Richard spent 5 years as a senior / project lead IT Consultant within the Department of Work and Pensions. Richard has a life-long commitment towards software engineering excellence.

Richard Manson, CCO and Co-founder 

Richard Manson is co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of CloudTrade. Richard is responsible for defining and delivering marketing strategy, business development and alliance management.

Richard's career has focussed on the arena of Finance and Procurement optimisation for the last 15 years.  The majority of this time was spent as a management consultant with KPMG Consulting, where he was technical and pre-sales lead for their e-Finance and e-Payables propositions and implemented solutions into companies such as: Airbus, Astra Zeneca, Shell and Unilever.

Directly prior co-founding CloudTrade, Richard worked for Parseq, a Business Process Outsourcing organisation that specialised in optimising customers Finance and Procurement functions through the use of technology and outsourced services.
